A Start

Standard

A turtle is the very first artwork I remember creating.  I was small and innocent to formal education of any kind, just free and wild. I remember getting lost within the echoing lines on the turtles’ shell, each one had a different color and followed a pattern.  Somehow creating that turtle made enough of an impression on me that it has stuck with me to this day. My first artwork was undoubtedly created with crayons. My goal now is to work with paint, which is daunting because I know nothing of painting a canvas.

Here’s a cheer to learning, as free and wild as I can get away with.  I’m looking forward to reconnecting with who I am again (amid all of the people I love).  I can’t wait to embark, recording and rediscovering what I like.  So, thankyou Jeremiah Palecek for this free course (painting-course.com) the means of helping me with the initial start of this journey.
